How to use Softball Scene as a player

Set up your profile, find events and manage your registrations.

  1. Sign in and complete your profile

    Choose Sign in, enter your display name and email, then open the emailed link and select Continue to sign in. In your dashboard, choose Edit profile to add your city, state, ZIP code, positions and playing preferences. Save your profile. Your ZIP code stays private and supplies your default event search location.

  2. Find an event

    Open Events, Tournaments or Leagues. Enter a name, ZIP code, distance and dates. Searches start with your saved player ZIP and a 50-mile radius. Change or clear the ZIP for a different location. Expand Advanced search for divisions, level, format, price and other filters, then choose Search events.

  3. Register or join a waitlist

    Open an event and review its divisions, rules and refund policy. Choose Register now, select an eligible entry type and division, answer the questions, and review any add-ons and fees. Accept the policy and complete registration. Paid entries continue to Stripe Checkout. A free waitlist does not reserve a place; if the organizer offers one, complete registration before the offer expires.

  4. Join a team or accept a placement

    Find a team under Teams. If it accepts join requests, introduce yourself and request to join. Email invitations appear in your dashboard when you sign in with the invited address. After a game, captains and co-captains can open Schedule & brackets on the event to report or accept a score. Agreement finalizes the result; organizers resolve disagreements. For free-agent events, follow your registration status and accept a team placement before its deadline. Unsuccessful free-agent placements are refunded excluding platform fees.

  5. Manage your registration

    Open a registration from your dashboard to view its receipt and status. Use Amend registration to request changes before the cutoff; review any additional charge or refund before confirming. A cancellation request for a paid entry goes to the organizer for review. Platform fees are nonrefundable.
